Our first take on a human voice with creative and experimental twist. A beautiful female vocal textures, packed and prepared to be performed accompanied by organic pad sounds, which extend natural range of human voice. Zaria’s intimate voices will take you on an adventure to another galaxy. The most significant value of Zaria is it can add interest and motion to cinematic, ambient music or it can just sit on backseat and create harmonic ambience.

LOOKING FOR UNEXPECTED

The main idea for Zaria was to create an inspiring and experimental tool, not only for film and game composers but for electronic music producers as well. Zaria is unquestionably an unique sample library, named after Polish goddess of beauty. And there is hardly anything more beautiful than angelic female voice. With that attitude, We recorded an incredibly talented soprano vocalist Roksana Korban. Her amazing voice usually fills the interior of theater and opera. This collaboration however, resulted in creation of original and unexpected material.

With these sounds you will start composing music in a different way. Zaria isn’t a traditional vocal sample library in any way. It is not made to perform complex melodies and simulate realistically note to note transitions. Zaria – Nebulance Vocal Textures is all about ambience, chaos and unpredictable rhythms, made by angelic female voice. It also shines when treated like a synth pad.

THE OVERVIEW

Zaria – Nebulous Vocal Textures contains 4 types of programmes / patches, most of them additionally with reversed versions. 

Performance program is made of 5 horizontal layers, spread across the keyboard. Low organic pad made of processed vocal samples, vocal performances split into 3 sections based on key range, all with 11 articulations, independently switchable from GUI or by key-switches. Finally high pad range which smoothly extends human voice range to higher registers. 

Compound program is made of 3 atoms: Low drone which quietly sits under soft vocal textures and dynamic vocal textures on the top, controlled by Mod Wheel (CC1). Compound program similarly to performance contain multiple articulations. 

Single Atom programs are separate articulations known from “Performance” and “Compound” with few additional articulations like “Shorts” or “Breath” for instance. 

Most of articulations have additional program with reversed sound, which makes this library even more interesting and experimental. 

Pad program type is a perfect addition which can bring base harmony to experimental vocal performances. All pad sounds are made of processed vocal recordings, which give them very organic feel and make them easy to blend with Zaria’s beautiful vocals.
